This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:
Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)
Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)
Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
(where TYPE may also be *VAR)
The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

On Intel MacBookPros with switchable graphics, when the iGPU
is enabled, the address of VRAM gets put at 0 in the dGPU's
virtual address space. This is non-standard and seems to cause
issues with the cursor if it ends up at 0. We have the framework
to reserve memory at 0 in the address space, so enable it here if
the vram start address is 0.

amdgpu_discovery_get_nps_info() internally allocates memory for ranges
using kvcalloc(), which may use vmalloc() for large allocation. Using
kfree() to release vmalloc memory will lead to a memory corruption.
Use kvfree() to safely handle both kmalloc and vmalloc allocations.
Compile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool
and code review.

On APUs such as Raven and Renoir (GC 9.1.0, 9.2.2, 9.3.0), the ih1 and
ih2 interrupt ring buffers are not initialized. This is by design, as
these secondary IH rings are only available on discrete GPUs. See
vega10_ih_sw_init() which explicitly skips ih1/ih2 initialization when
AMD_IS_APU is set.
However, amdgpu_gmc_filter_faults_remove() unconditionally uses ih1 to
get the timestamp of the last interrupt entry. When retry faults are
enabled on APUs (noretry=0), this function is called from the SVM page
fault recovery path, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference when
amdgpu_ih_decode_iv_ts_helper() attempts to access ih->ring[].
The crash manifests as:
BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000004
RIP: 0010:amdgpu_ih_decode_iv_ts_helper+0x22/0x40 [amdgpu]

amdgpu_irq_dispatch+0xed/0x2c0 [amdgpu]
amdgpu_ih_process+0x84/0x100 [amdgpu]
This issue was exposed by commit 1446226d32a4 ("drm/amdgpu: Remove GC HW
IP 9.3.0 from noretry=1") which changed the default for Renoir APU from
noretry=1 to noretry=0, enabling retry fault handling and thus
exercising the buggy code path.
Fix this by adding a check for ih1.ring_size before attempting to use
it. Also restore the soft_ih support from commit dd299441654f ("drm/amdgpu:
Rework retry fault removal"). This is needed if the hardware doesn't
support secondary HW IH rings.

No functional change for now, but this struct will have more
fields added in the next commit.
This change would introduce synchronisation issue, because
dependencies between successive jobs are not taken care of
properly. For instance, amdgpu_ttm_clear_buffer uses
amdgpu_ttm_map_buffer then amdgpu_ttm_fill_mem which should
use different entities (default_entity then move/clear entity).
To prevent failures for this commit, we limit ourselves to
2 entities: default_entity (which replaces high_pr usages) and
clear_entity (which replaces low_pr usages).
The next commits will deal with these dependencies correctly,
and then we'll be able to use move_entity.

Userspace jobs have drm_file.client_id as a unique identifier
as job's owners. For kernel jobs, we can allocate arbitrary
values - the risk of overlap with userspace ids is small (given
that it's a u64 value).
In the unlikely case the overlap happens, it'll only impact
trace events.
Since this ID is traced in the gpu_scheduler trace events, this
allows to determine the source of each job sent to the hardware.
To make grepping easier, the IDs are defined as they will appear
in the trace output.

This is to enable pdb0 and switch to use pdb0-based virtual gpu

TLB flush
- Modify the VM invalidation engine allocation logic to handle SDMA page rings.
SDMA page rings now share the VM invalidation engine with SDMA gfx rings instead of
allocating a separate engine. This change ensures efficient resource management and
avoids the issue of insufficient VM invalidation engines.
- Add synchronization for GPU TLB flush operations in gmc_v9_0.c.
Use spin_lock and spin_unlock to ensure thread safety and prevent race conditions
during TLB flush operations. This improves the stability and reliability of the driver,
especially in multi-threaded environments.
